Connect Ventures led the funding round, with participation from Seedcamp, Howzat Ventures, Firestartr, as well as existing investor Openfund. The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations.
Linc, an Esbjerg, Denmark-based Internet of Things (IoT) startup, has received €150k in funding, the funding was given in the framework of the International startup competition INCENSe (Internet, Cleantech, Enablers, Spark project). ItBit, a New York and Singapore-based global bitcoin exchange, has raised $25 million in Series A financing round.Backers included RRE Ventures, Liberty City Ventures and Jay W. Jordan II, as well as new investors James Pallota (Raptor Capital Management chairman). The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations and grow its team.
CharBeat, a New York City provider of real-time analytics platform, has raised $15.5 million in Series C funding round. Harmony Partners led this round, with participation from investors DFJ, Index Ventures, Jason Calacanis, Jeff Clavier and new investor Digital Garage.
