CTI Life Sciences Fund and British Columbia Discovery Fund (Discovery Capital) led this funding round, with participation from BDC Capital Healthcare Venture Fund and Yaletown Venture Partners. Phemi plans to use the funds to expand its sales, marketing and engineering efforts. Infogain, a CA-based provider of global business and IT consulting solutions, has raised $63 million in funding. Private equity firm ChrysCapital, HCL Technologies, LiquidHub, KPIT Technologies, Cyient, Mphasis and Spectramind have made the investment. Infogain plans to use the funds to broaden its solution offerings, pursue strategic acquisitions, explore new areas and accelerate the expansion of employee base. Infogain provides front-end technologies, processes and application for enterprises in the United States, europe, The Middle East, Asia Pacific region and India. It specializes in areas such ass software product engineering, service automation and mobility offering solutions.
Tyfone, Inc., a Portland, Oregon-based provider of mobile-first digital security for financial services, has raised $6.6 million in series C funding round. RPX Corp (NASDAQ: RPXC) led this funding round, with participation from In-Q-Tel, Steve Palowski and David Petraeus. Tyfone plans to use the funds to further accelerate the global implementation of its software and hardware platform as well as mobile banking products. Tyfone provides a platform for identity and transaction security in the banking, government, e commerce, healthcare and critical infrastructure markets. The company also has operations in Bangalore, India.
Record360, a Seattle-based property inspection and asset condition reporting dashboard and app, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding round. The Alliance of Angels led this funding round with participation from Bellingham Angel Investors and others. Record360 was founded by Shane Skinner and Damon Haber, it provides an app that automates how companies manage inspection and asset condition reporting for vehicle, equipment and property across the enterprise and point of sale. Customers include Able Freight, Quixote, Penske Jaguar Land Rover and Road Machine LLC.
