Dematic, a leading global supplier of automated technology, software, and services to optimize the supply chain, has acquired Reddwerks Corporation, a leading provider of Warehouse Execution Software (WES) that provides companies with real-time decision engines to optimize material and information flow in the supply chain. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal, which is still subject to shareholders’ approval and customary closing conditions, will strengthen Dematic’s software portfolio and deliver additional value to its customers.

Traditional batch processing cannot sufficiently respond to either the operational variability or the speed required.” Henriksson added, “The union of Dematic and Reddwerks will enable customers to accommodate ever-changing business requirements by enhancing automation technologies with ‘On Demand’ software solutions that dynamically optimize warehouse and distribution functions.”
