Altran has acquired Tessella, an international analytics and data science consulting services firm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal comes in support of Altran\’s new Strategic Plan, \’Altran 2020. Ignition\’.

Once complete, Tessella will operate as a World Class Center within the Altran Group.  It\’s proven capability in data analytics space will enhance Altran\’s Intelligent Systems solution and VueForge™ offerings.

Founded in 1980, Tessella is an international analytics, technology and consultancy firm known for finding and delivering innovative and pragmatic answers to the complex business and technical challenges of some of the world\’s most forward-thinking organizations in the aerospace and defense, consumer goods, energy, life sciences and science research sectors. The company has a workforce of 234 employees and has offices in UK, Boston, Houston, Washington DC and the Netherlands.
