NFT Genius, a US-based developer of experiences and marketplace technology for the NFT market, today announced a $150 million valuation after securing $10.5 million Series A funding.

Dapper Labs, Spartan Labs, Commonwealth Asset Management (CWAM), and Fundamental Labs led this latest funding round, with participation from Spartan, One Football, and Unibanco. The company intends to use the fresh capital to make investing in NFTs accessible to all.

NFT Genius was founded in 2020 by Jeremy Born, Kurt Braget, and Karl Meier. Based in Los Angeles, California, NFT Genius developed some of the most popular and valuable NFT collections and currently has the largest NFT marketplace on Flow. The company also developed Gaia, which serves as the leading secondary market for art, entertainment, sports, and culturally relevant digital collectibles.

The company created Ballerz, a basketball-themed NFT collection that sold out in one hour and has partnered with top athletes such as Shaquille O’Neal and Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson.

Previously, Mark Cuban, Anthony Pompliano, Sound Ventures, and HOF Capital backed NFT Genius during the company’s seed round.
