Johnson Hana, Ireland’s first alternative legal solutions provider, announced that it has secured €10.5 million in funding. AIB plc led this latest funding round, with participation from a host of angel investors. The fresh capital will be used to continue to meet global demand.

To date, the startup has raised over €15 million, with backing from AIB plc, Enterprise Ireland, Voxpro founder Dan Kiely, and Tom Hickey, the former CEO of Tullow Oil. Other backers include Andy Ross of Aquila Heywood and institutional investor Business Venture Partners.

Founded in 2017 by former rock band frontman Dan Fox and brother Alex Fox, Johnson Hana provides legal management and outsourcing services to small businesses and in-house counsel for larger businesses on data compliance processes and drafting commercial contracts.

The Irish legal tech startup uses a combination of smart technology, expert lawyers, and project management to deliver bespoke legal solutions. The company’s primary goal is to help businesses reduce their legal spending by up to 50 percent. The company’s clients include global brands such as Airbnb, LinkedIn, Tinder, and Ryanair.
